Yes. PNEC is an ISO 9001-2008 Training Institute. We strictly follow the guide lines of American Society for Non Destructive Testing like Training hours, examination pattern and training outlines etc…

Certainly…We assure that Our Students definitely perform independently at least in the field of fundamental operations and additions of little more practice make our trainees perfect.

Who should attend this course ?

Highly recommended for new comers and also experienced persons associated with Foundry, Forging, Fabrication work like pressure vessels, Boilers, Heat Exchanges, construction works etc.
The design engineers, project engineers, production engineers and QA/QC personnel would find the course immensely beneficial.

Is it a regular or weekend class ?

At present it is regular course from 9-30 am to 6-30 pm, weekend class would be started shortly.

Off course, as per ASNT SNT-TC 1A, you are eligible for the course, provided you should have sufficient NDE experience.

I am physically challenged (handicapped), Can I get admission?, do I have any reduction in fees ?

Yes. For Physically challenged people, except visually impaired (blind) we offer 50% flat discount to help them come up in the Society. we also help them for their suitable job positions.

Does PNEC provide additional training after regular course ?

Yes. The prescribed course length may not be sufficient to work as a fully fledged Professional. if candidates wish to gain additional on site experience, PNEC will provide the same without any additional fee.

Weather this training hours are sufficient to learn ?

Yes….but may not be for as a Professional NDT man, for which we recommended to work on the job in Site to gain the more experience.

Weather this institute really have RT infrastructure or borrowed from the other ?

Yes .PNEC have BARC approved Co-60 Radiography enclosure and ultra modern Radiography processing lab too, so participants can understand RT practically rather than only video animation.

Can PNEC provide similar training at our premises and at our convenient time ?

Yes…There are two types of training courses, one is at our Institute course and In- house course, the second will be conducted at your premises, with your equipments and your job and as per your Clients requirement.

Who is the examiner? How will you conduct examination ?

Generally Level III Personnel is an Examiner as well as Faculty and examination shall be conducted very strictly and not allowing any malpractice.

Should I get ISNT certificate by attending this course ?

Yes, in near future you may get by paying additional ISNT Nominal fee, we are in process of getting the approval by ISNT.

Is it mandatory to attend level-I course prior to level II ?

No…but who wish to access direct Level II, he/she should get the additional level -I training hours.
As per ASNT/SNT/TC/1A
FOR LEVEL II CERTIFICATION, THE EXPERIENCE SHALL CONSIST OF TIME AT LEVEL I OR EQUIVALENT. IF A PERSON IS BEING QUALIFIED DIRECTLY TO LEVEL II WITH NO TIME AT LEVEL I, THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE SHALL CONSIST OF THE SUM OF THE TIMES REQUIRED FOR LEVEL I AND LEVEL II AND THE REQUIRED TRAINING SHALL CONSIST OF THE SUM OF THE HOURS REQUIRED FOR LEVEL I AND LEVEL II.

What are all the documents required for to join the Course. ?

Photocopies of
a. Educational Proof
b. NDE Experience Letter from the Employer
c. Passport size photographs-2 Nos.
NOTE : FOR LEVEL – II EXAMINATION, CANDIDATE MUST PRODUCE LEVEL – I CERTIFICATE OR TAKE ADDITIONAL TRAINING HOURS FOR LEVEL – I COURSE PRIOR TO LEVEL – II COURSE
Candidates are requested to carry Scientific Calculator for above courses.

Can ASNT RT-II certified Personnel operate the Radiography camera ?

Strictly No…ASNT RT –II Personnel’s are not authorized to operate any RT related equipments unless they shall be undergone BARC Safety course.

How is the examination pattern ?

As per ASNT-SNT-TC-1A it contains 3 papers namely General, Specific and Practical
General, 40 Q, All are objective types, minimum passing marks is 70%
Specific, 20 Q, Open book exam, all are objective types, minimum passing marks is 70%
Practical, 10 check points, one flawed specimen, minimum passing marks is 70%
NOTE: AGGREGATE MARKS OF ALL 3 PAPERS TOGETHER SHALL BE MINIMUM 80%

What are all the responsibilities of Level I operator ?

Level I individual shall be qualified to properly perform specific calibrations, specific NDE and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and to record results. The Level I shall receive the necessary instructions or supervision from a certified NDE Level II or III individual.

Level II personnel can issue the Level I certificate ?

No. Only certified ASNT level III can issue the certificate by providing sufficient training and examination.

Is Vision examination certificate only from Ophthalmologist ?

Not necessarily, the certified ASNT NDT Level III can conduct Eye examination As per SNT-TC-1A.Vision examination shall be conducted by either a Medical Officer (Ophthalmologist) or NDE Level III.
